A charming home in Tarporley that was abundant in Victorian character but very much in need of some Holla Design magic when we laid our hands on it. The overall intention was to design a space that flowed seamlessly throughout, that was sympathetic to the original character and injected some happiness into the home.

 

The original layout of the ground floor was disconnected and left some rooms feeling dark and soul-less. We knocked the wall down between the living and dining rooms to create an open plan space that was zoned with different flooring. Built-in joinery was added to the living room for practicality as well as a large dining table in the dining area for all that life brings. The original kitchen was in good condition but in need of some punch so we made some clever updates here which transformed the look and feel.

The first floor was all about clever colour combinations ensuring each room had its own personality and purpose but complemented the rest of the floor. A combination of vintage finds and new pieces as well as beautiful fabrics and finishes created a joyful space that can be adored for years to come.
